Independently running an office located inside Powerhouse Fitness Complex in South Lyon. My clientele includes business people, the elderly, police, fire fighters, body builders, power lifters, extreme sports, et.

I treat spinal cord , whiplash ,rotator cuff, sciatica, and low back injuries. Also combination therapy and relaxation with hot stones.

As a graduate of Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy, I have advanced neuromuscular, trigger point, myofascial, Swedish, muscle integration, and soft tissue palpation and assessment skills. My techniques are quite extensive, detailed and specific. Pain is alleviated quite rapidly, range of motion and muscle tone are dramatically improved.
I pride myself in the many techniques and knowledge to provide the proper therapy
for each person and also to relax and provide comfort as well.

I specialize in neuromuscular massage and treat each area thumb-width by thumb-width, fiber by fiber, as many different angles as possible.
I have my clients face down, change to each side, move their head from side to side, move their arms forward, to the side and toward the back. Each time a person moves to another position, their muscle fibers change so I can treat the areas and clear the adhesions and restrictions that are present, bringing more circulation to the areas to heal faster and alleviate pain.
I add hot rocks for massages that are an hour or more, the moist heat helps me treat the areas even deeper, and is also very relaxing.
Whenever you rest for any length of time over 30 minutes, your body starts accumulating loose connective tissue within the interfaces between your muscles.

The tissues start to solidify. This is why when you drive for a while and it can be as little as 30 minutes and you go to get out of the car or truck, your stiff and its hard to move and get out.

When you sleep for anything longer than an hour, your stiff when you wake up.

When you sit to read or watch TV for awhile, and get up, your stiff, this is not age related.

When you sleep, if you have a habit of sleeping on a side, all of the areas that are being squished are accumulating more of this than anywhere else.

Your hip and leg aches. Your shoulder and sometimes your arm and hand go numb.

This stuff, loose connective tissue, adds up and blocks the nerves and circulation throughout the areas.

Over time, when anyone starts to stiffen up and hurt whenever they move, they tend not to move because it hurts too much, and that causes more pain.

Stretching can get rid of some of it but you can’t stretch everything.

This stuff adds up over time, like dust on a table.

This is the stuff that they can eventually see on X-ray and tell you it’s arthritis.

This is also the stuff that you can remove through massage.

Massage mechanically breaks up and moves the loose connective tissue buildup and it makes the muscles smooth and supple.

The muscles need to be manually stretched and each time you do a session it will stretch and relax the muscles being treated.

Treating each area several times over deepens the techniques without hurting the patient.

I work in an area, then change to another to let the first area rest, then come back to the area to deepen the work, and repeat, each time working in as many directions as possible.

This treats the fibers of the muscles which are in several directions and several layers.

This style of massage relieves muscle spasms, it clears the built up scar tissue and lose connective tissue, and flushes the lymph throughout the body.
